HEB ISD Data Scorecard
SAT Exam Performance
The College Board's SAT measures skills and knowledge in a standardized way across the country. Many colleges and universities use the SAT as a datapoint during the admissions process. HEB ISD uses average SAT score of our graduating high school seniors as a way to ensure students are College and Career Ready for postsecondary opportunities across the nation.
The College Board publishes national average scores for the entire SAT, and for the test's two content-area sections: Evidence-based Reading & Writing (ERW) and Math. For all three measures, the chart below reflects how the average score of graduating HEB ISD students compare with the national average.
Note: This data is aligned to Success Measure 1.5I in HEB ISD's Strategic Plan. College Board is the source for this information.
