Aminata Diallo - Oakwood Terrace Elementary
Ami, a dedicated 6th grade leader at OTE, has earned her way to the Great History Challenge National competition in Chicago, IL on May 24 - 26th, 2024. We are so proud of her at OTE!
It started as a campus wide 6th grade competition. She committed to staying after school every Monday and Tuesday with the history club, coached by Mrs. Rainey, to study and practice. She then advanced with 13 other students to the regional competition in Dallas, TX. There, her hard work paid off and she singled herself out with a ticket to the national competition. She is excited to compete in May and to travel to Chicago, IL. Wow, what an opportunity she has earned for herself!
Her family and her Oakwood Terrace Owl family congratulate her and wish her the most memorable journey.
